Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service set forth the conditions for using PDF Tools (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The Service is a free web-based tool that provides PDF-related functions including merging, splitting, compressing, password protection, and image-to-PDF conversion. All processing is performed within the user's browser, and files are never transmitted to our servers.

Article 3 (Terms of Use)

No account registration is required to use the Service. Users shall not engage in the following activities: Acts that violate laws or public order and morals, acts that interfere with the operation of the Service, acts that infringe on the rights of other users or third parties, unauthorized reproduction or redistribution of the Service for commercial purposes, and any other acts deemed inappropriate by us.

Article 4 (Intellectual Property)

Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to us or their rightful owners. Intellectual property rights of files processed by users through the Service continue to belong to the users.

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or usefulness of the Service. We shall not be liable for any file corruption, data loss, or other damages arising from the use of the Service. We strongly recommend creating backups before processing important files.

Article 6 (Service Changes and Suspension)

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any damages caused to users as a result.

Article 7 (Advertising)

The Service may display advertisements to cover operational costs. However, we never display ads during file downloads or impose waiting times for downloads.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

We may modify these terms without notice to users when deemed necessary. The revised terms take effect upon publication on this page.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our principal office location.
